Christmas 2007

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

The year has been spent with Terry's parents in Aitkin, visiting with the grandchildren in Rogers, enjoying family reunions in Glenwood, sharing in news of family illness and sorrow, and keeping busy with our volunteer jobs.

We have watched for two years the building of the new bridge and enjoyed the celebration of the ribbon cutting.  Sauk Rapids celebrated the opening of a new bridge across the Mississippi River. There have been three bridges in Sauk Rapids, the first built in 1889, the second in 1948 and this one planned to last at least 100 years.

Terry completed a 10 week Police Academy course taught by five local communities. The ethics, law and evidence collecting was informative but the fun part was driving a squad car (fast), shooting a gun and getting tazered!!! My police chief was very helpful.

August 29th found us celebrating Howard’s 70th birthday. It was a fun Hawaiian luau with many friends and family helping celebrate. We are grateful for them and for our good health and happiness. We wish you a very Joyous Holiday Season and remember the reason for the season.
